Shutting Down The Red Carpet: 2010 Kids Choice Awards

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

kids-choice-main-032710-15

The 2010 Kids Choice Awards were held today in Los Angeles and saw some of today’s hottest young stars show up to the event including Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihtard and Miley Cyrus to name a few.  Check out some of the arrivals and shots from the show here!

selena-gomez-032710-2

Selena Gomez was pretty much perfection in a Christian Cota chiffon dress. We love the entire look Selena knows how to look mature without over doing it.

c9e9fe4b

Snoop Dogg took his family on an outing to the event and all of them look like the spitting image of him….Except for the girl who appears to be the youngest. Why is her skin complexion so much darker than both her parents….we’re just sayin….Do we need to call Maury on this one?

cc8dd7c8

Tyra Banks managed to not look like a castmember of RuPaul’s Drag Race and opted for quite a stunning look. She looks fresh and we just love the colors and her make up. The look is definitely still Tyra but it actually compliments her well….

taylor-adds-032710-1

Taylor Lautner looks so dreamy!!!!

rihanna-adds-032710-4

Rihtard looked cute  in Christian Dior although we don’t really understand the bling and pairing socks with heels (that definitely she be left in the 80’s).

justin-bieber-032710-1

Justin Beiber was big pimpin at the award show….those shoes are killing us soflty!

keke

Keke Palmer looked really cute and age appropriate in this Adam Fall Spring 2009 dress.

miranda-cosgrove-032710-3

We loved Miranda Cosgrove’s Chrisitian Siriano Fall 2010 dress and shoes but the hair could use some reworking!

smith

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith brought their family to the event as well as their son Jaden’s costar Jackie Chan. The Smith’s are producing the remake of the Karate Kid which is scheduled for a June 10, 2010 release.

katy-perry-adds-032710-3

Katy Perry wore her usual costume looking ensemble…this time she’s giving us a mixture of peacock meets disco queen.

Simmonsfam

The Simmons family also showed up the event. So far the youngest child Russel is the only one not riding off the coat tails of his daddy and family name. We’re sure that won’t last too long.

nikki-reed-032710-2

Twilight’s Nikki Reed wore this lovely floral dress to the event.

9987624c

Zoe Saldana toned it down for the event opting for jeans. She of course manages to uphold style, class and sophisitcation. We love this chick.

8a345bdd

Spice Girl Melanie Brown hit up the event looking fabulous with her stylish girls and husband.

e051e4d9

Diddy’s “mini me” Christian Combs showed up to the event. It’s so unfortunate that he looks so much like his hideous father and his brothers managed to get lucky and inherit their mother’s genes. Let’s hope Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter don’t suffer from Christian’s syndrome…the possibilities would be devastating….

Red Carpet At The 82nd Annual Academy Awards….

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

021657242

Zoe Saldana looks amazing in Givenchy Spring 2010 Couture gown. We’re loving the color on her skin and the jeweled bodice with the ruffled detail at the skirt of the dress. Zoe is perfection! Serve it girl!!!

021657397

Nicole Richie loves her metallics keeping up with her love of the mod look! She looks gorgeous in Reem Acra!!

021657681

Miley Cyrus appears to be growing into her fashion sense. She looks fabulous and age appropriate! We’re usually on the fence about her but we’re surrendering all defenses. She looks great!

021657879

Sandra Bullock looks classic in Marchesa Fall 2010. We just love how this dress works with her skin tone. She’s kind of reminding us of Anne Hathaway in this look! We think she’s gonna win though. It would make good press for the Oscars!

021658117

Jennifer Lopez looks amazing in this Armani Prive Spring 2010.  Her make up is looking dead and her hair could have been done up a little better but this dress kills. Initially when we saw this dress all the shots were at a bad angle but clearly this dress gives the drama that is deserving of JLO…

021657907

Rachel McAdams look is a bit safe and the color drags….Dull and boring!!!

021657840

Penelope Cruz looks classic as always!

021657823

Diane Kruger never disappoints looking lovely in this Fall 2009 Chanel couture gown!!!

021657956

Sarah Jessica Parker wore Chanel Spring 2010 Couture and isn’t exactly wowing us but she gets the job done!

40447b28

Thank god Mo’Nique covered up her hairy legs!!! She looks lovely and we love the flower! We’re watching the Awards right now. She just won for Supporting Actress!!!

021658041

Sorry for the rudeness but can somebody please tell us what’s the attraction to Kristen Stewart? We never caught Twilight, but she must be a really good actress because we’re not seeing what makes this girl who she is…

021658036

Charlize Theron just loves coming to these events so she can let everyone know who truly reigns!!! Simply amazing…

021658226

Cameron Diaz fails to impress us tonight in this Oscar De La Renta Fall 2010 gown.  Definitely a surprise because she’s usually one to take risk….This dress doesn’t really fit well an the color, her hair and the make up just makes her look so old.

021658075

Kate Winslet looks impeccable. Her hair alone is perfection. We love love love this classic Hollywood look!

021657446

Maggie Gyllenhal opted for this beautiful strapless gown…

021657302

Amanda Seyfried wore Armani Prive Spring 2010 and looked very elegant…

ff50a5fb

Zoe Kravitz showed up in this rather simple gown to the Oscars in support of her fathers film Precious.  This girl looks beautiful no matter what. Her face is perfection!

021658521

Demi Moore slayed at this event in Spring 2008 Atelier Versace. She looks stunning and seems to squash girls half her age….

021657209

What is there to say other than it’s Mariah Carey????

021657199

Kathy Ireland looks stunning. We love how she paired that necklace with this dress! She looks like royalty!

021657153

Undeniably a beautiful pregnant woman, Paula Patton showed up in this orange dress….We’ve seen better from her!

021657127

Mariska Hargitay looked basic in black….

021659246

Elizabeth Banks is definitely giving us American Beauty….

7eafe32a

Tina Fey is lucky she’s a funny woman so we’ll let this slide…. She wore Michael Kors….

021659109

Anna Kendrick looks lovely….

59837153

Carey Mulligan looks fabulous in Prada. We always think Mia Farrow when we see her (it’s the haircut)!

3c6c1b86

Gabourey Sidibe looked a vision in blue in this Marchesa gown!!! Love the hair and the make up! Gabby was feeling uber confident when describing her gown she said, “If fashion was porn this dress would be the money shot”.

MerylStreep01

Meryl Streep looks the best we’ve seen her in years. She really really brought her “A” game….

The Boys:

SPL163118_003

Zac Efron looks quite the leading man. We love the hair, the tan and the suit….sexy sexy!!!

montblanc5

Loving Nicole Richie in this color!!!

montblanc4

Emmy Rossum opted for an LBD with a bit of sequins detailing….Not really feeling it!!!

021651949

Eva Green looked gorgeous. The color of the dress just pops right off her skin and the lipstick with her hair and that dress is the perfrect color. Perfection! We would have like it if her hair was a little more classic though but still she looks really good!
