Clash Of the Titans Dominates Box Office…

Warner Bros.’ 3D film Clash of the Titans has nabbed the #1 spot in the box office garnering an estimated $64 million this weekend. The action film was housed on 3,777 screens across the country.
Making half the amount of this week’s winner is Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too starring Janet Jackson which made $30 million. This would be Janet’s first film not to debut at #1. Although in all fairness her film was only housed on 2,155 screens which is over 1,000 less screens than Titans. Still a very impressive showing for Ms. Jackson’s film!
Why Did I Get Married Too was closely followed by last week’s #1 film How To Train Your Dragon which made $29.2 million this week.
Pretty good week for films!!
Miley’s Movie “The Last Song” Pulls In $5.1 Million
